A little history of Pro-Pet

Pro-Pet L.L.C. was formed in 1996 when a group of cooperatives decided to join together and purchase an existing pet food Company. Today we are a company owned by the leading regional cooperatives Growmark, Land O Lakes, Southern States and Tennessee Farmers. We market our primary products under the brand names of PRO-PET Dog and Cat Foods, BIG RED Dog Foods, and LI'L Red Cat Foods in partnership with over 3,000 retail locations located throughout most of the United States. Pro-Pet LLC also manufactures private label pet foods that are marketed under a variety of selected company brand names located throughout the United States.

Our office and manufacturing facilities are located in St. Marys, Ohio.
Our manufacturing facilities utilize state of the art pet food manufacturing technology assuring our customers the best in product selection and high quality pet food nutrition for all lifestyle stages.
